Luke 21:37-22:8

³⁷ Every day Jesus was teaching in the temple, and every night he would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet. ³⁸ All the people came early in the morning to him in the temple to hear him. ¹ Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the Passover, was approaching. ² The chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put him to death, for they feared the people. ³ Satan entered into Judas, who was also called Iscariot, who was counted with the twelve. ⁴ He went away, and talked with the chief priests and captains about how he might deliver him to them. ⁵ They were glad, and agreed to give him money. ⁶ He consented, and sought an opportunity to deliver him to them in the absence of the multitude. ⁷ The day of unleavened bread came, on which the Passover must be sacrificed. ⁸ Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”

Titus 1:15-2:10

¹⁵ To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. ¹⁶ They profess that they know God, but by their deeds they deny him, being abominable, disobedient, and unfit for any good work. ¹ But say the things which fit sound doctrine, ² that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober minded, sound in faith, in love, and in perseverance: ³ and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good; ⁴ that they may train the young wives to love their husbands, to love their children, ⁵ to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God’s word may not be blasphemed. ⁶ Likewise, exhort the younger men to be sober minded; ⁷ in all things showing yourself an example of good works; in your teaching showing integrity, seriousness, incorruptibility, ⁸ and soundness of speech that can’t be condemned; that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us. ⁹ Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters, and to be well-pleasing in all things; not contradicting; ¹⁰ not stealing, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things.
