John 9:39-10:9

³⁹ Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, that those who don’t see may see; and that those who see may become blind.” ⁴⁰ Those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?” ⁴¹ Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains. ¹ “Most certainly, I tell you, one who doesn’t enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. ² But one who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. ³ The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. ⁴ Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. ⁵ They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him; for they don’t know the voice of strangers.” ⁶ Jesus spoke this parable to them, but they didn’t understand what he was telling them. ⁷ Jesus therefore said to them again, “Most certainly, I tell you, I am the sheep’s door. ⁸ All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn’t listen to them. ⁹ I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture.

Acts 14:20-27

²⁰ But as the disciples stood around him, he rose up, and entered into the city. On the next day he went out with Barnabas to Derbe. ²¹ When they had preached the Good News to that city, and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, ²² confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into God’s Kingdom. ²³ When they had appointed elders for them in every assembly, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they had believed. ²⁴ They passed through Pisidia, and came to Pamphylia. ²⁵ When they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia. ²⁶ From there they sailed to Antioch, from where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they had fulfilled. ²⁷ When they had arrived, and had gathered the assembly together, they reported all the things that God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the nations.
